Why is Shehbaz Sharif guilty?

The analysis of Mian
Shahbaz Sharif was in his heart for a long time, but he could not write during his
prime ministership that it should not be considered flattery. First of all,
this great honor has come in his part that he left the Prime Minister’s House
honorably because very few people leave here without being humiliated. Usually, people do not leave here, but are expelled and often go straight to jail along
with being expelled. But Mian Shahbaz Sharif is lucky that he was sent off with
a guard of honour and caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar, who replaced
him, even opened the door of the car for him. The Chief Minister
Later, as prime
minister, he also proved that he is a very hardworking and excellent
administrator. As chief minister, he was more rigid in temperament and used to
complain about it by party concerns or bureaucrats, but as prime minister, he
had overcome this flaw to a great extent. In order to deal with the IMF and
save the country from default, he made a vow, which was ridiculed by the
people, although in this country, every person is pleading for himself but not for the country and the nation.
That is not to say that Mian Shahbaz Sharif is an angel. There are dozens of
flaws in their caste, style of politics, and style of government. But the way
only Shehbaz Sharif has been made a punching bag for the common mistakes of
PML-N, PDM, and PPP, in my opinion it is an excess. Their only fault is that
they say that they should keep up with the establishment while everyone else acts
in a double whammy. In fact, in the last sixteen months, all the parties in the
government have competed to appease and patronise the establishment. Zardari,
Maulana, Mengal and others were involved in all the decisions taken for the
pleasure of the establishment, but the blame is being given only to Shahbaz
Sharif. Shahbaz Sharif’s statement from the very beginning was that opposition
should not be taken from the establishment and should move forward by accepting
the ground realities, but due to this narrative, he never betrayed his brother
or the party. He was also offered by General Musharraf and General Bajwa that
if he left his brother, he would be made prime minister, but he preferred to go
to jail for loyalty to his brother instead of taking the prime ministership.
They take any big decision against the will of
Mian Nawaz Sharif and cannot. For example, when the PDM alliance was formed
with ppp etc., Mian Shahbaz Sharif did not resist it. The decision to break the
PDM was not taken by Shahbaz Sharif, but at the behest of the then-military
leadership, the PPP and Zardari made a deal and took the air out of the PDM
balloon. But Zardari is considered a champion of democracy while Mian Shahbaz
Sharif is a servant of the establishment. Similarly, after 2018, the decision to
sit in the fake assemblies was taken jointly by all at the behest of the PPP
and it was happening at the behest of the establishment, but still he became a
democrat and Shahbaz Sharif was a servant of the establishment. Similarly, when
Mian Nawaz Sharif was being allowed to leave the country at the time of
illness, all these conversations were held directly with Mian Sahib and Shahbaz
Sharif had no role in it. Then the decision to support the extension of General
Qamar Javed Bajwa was not of Shahbaz Sharif but of Mian Nawaz Sharif, for which
Khawaja Asif was facilitating. When the establishment was fed up with Imran
Khan’s facilitation, instead of dissolving the assembly, it was Shahbaz
Sharif’s decision to form his own government and he could not do so. The
decision to form his own government by bringing no confidence against Imran
Khan was not the decision of Shahbaz Sharif but of Mian Nawaz Sharif, Asif Ali
Zardari, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Mehmood Khan Achakzai, Sardar Akhtar Mengal and
Father Party. Shahbaz Sharif was the prime minister as the head of the big
party, but in this government, from Zardari to Maulana and from Akhtar Mengal
to MQM, everyone continued to benefit equally. All of them were equal partners
in all the steps taken by this government for the happiness of the
establishment. Whatever unpleasant legislation was made, it was approved by the
cabinet first, in which representatives of Bilawal Bhutto, Asad Mehmood and
others as well as Akhtar Mengal also sat. In this setup, Mohsin Dawar of the
NDM was also the chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, whose status is
equal to that of a federal minister. Thus, if anyone had any objection to any
move of the government, he would have dared to separate from the government,
but after enjoying the fun, now everyone is coming to the field and saying that
such and such a thing went wrong and so and so decision caused harm. Maulana
Fazlur Rehman, Sardar Akhtar Mengal, Mohsin Dawar, ANP, and representatives of
all parties in the ruling coalition were present in the consultative meeting
held for the caretaker prime minister. All of them together gave authority to
Mian Shahbaz Sharif. This announcement was made by Mian Shahbaz Sharif in front
of more than 50 journalists before agreeing on the name of Anwarul Haq Kakar.
If he was wrong, why didn’t anyone explain that he did not give authority to
Mian Shahbaz Sharif? Then when the name of Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar came in front of
him, he said yes to it.
Now those who gave him authority, then what is
the point of objecting and pointing fingers at Mian Shahbaz Sharif? Keep in
mind the fact that he would not have said yes to this name without the consent
of Mian Nawaz Sharif. In this context, Mian Shahbaz Sharif is considered better
than others because he does not act in duplicity by accepting the ground
realities and openly considers the establishment as reality, while on the other
hand, everyone else’s attitude is like Shahbaz Sharif but gives such a false
impression in front of the people that he is a big anti-establishment. Everyone
benefited from the government’s fun, but now when the government’s fun is over,
they want to put all the debris on Shahbaz Sharif’s head. What Shahbaz Sharif
did, keeping in mind the permission of Mian Nawaz Sharif in every small and big
matter and whatever steps the government took, these thirteen parties were
equally involved in it. In fact, I would say that Shahbaz Sharif should be
given a medal for taking the PPP, JUI, MQM, BNP, Baap Party, and others along
for 16 months because the mountain of wishes and demands of each of them is
higher than Margalla.
