Wahab Riaz reveals reason for
retirement

bowler Wahab Riaz, who has retired from international cricket, has said that he
still wants to play for Pakistan, but the fact is that it is not difficult but
impossible, I do not have a place now, Pakistan has good fast bowlers.
Addressing
a press conference in Lahore, Caretaker Sports Minister Wahab Riaz informed
about the reason for retirement and said that Shaheen Afridi and other good
bowlers are no longer in my place and the fact is that I will not be able to
play anymore.
Wahab
Riaz says that there is no emotional decision, I believe in reality and the
fact is that I can not play now, it should be trending that there should be a
policy of farewell match for the players, I have no regrets, I have always
tried to give 100 percent.
The
caretaker minister said that there is a lot of achievement in my game, I am
proud of it, I started playing cricket in 2000, i had many dreams in life and
one dream was to play for Pakistan.

Riaz said that I was focused on the 2023 World Cup, I am grateful to the family
and the PCB, now it is time to say God Hafiz, Thank you, thank you Pakistan
Cricket Board.
